Our Story
In 2018 long time friends and Navy Veterans, JT and Jenna Taylor and Ben and Cristin Hewlett co-founded Virginia Beach Veterans Give Back, as a way to give back to our community who has given so much to us and been a home for our families.
After serving collectively almost 50 years in the Navy, JT and Pizza developed a foundational sense of service. They served their country and now they serve their community. Together with our spouses, who served in their own capacity at the home front raising families many times in our absence, we created VBVetsGiveBack so that we can give back to the community that has given so much to us. So we celebrate the service of all of our Veterans and their spouses and we are excited to be a part of giving back to our community today.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a venue for Veterans and their supporters to give back to our community here in the Hampton Roads area through amazing local charities who are active doing incredible works everyday for people who are in need.
Specifically, through charitable organized events, such as our annual charity golf tournament, we raise money and donate it directly to local charities who we see doing amazing things in our community through their selfless acts of service.

We had another incredibly successful charity golf tournament this year and were proud to make a donation to Mutts With A Mission. A truly incredible organization and their beautiful dogs providing services for veterans, service members and first responders. We are so thankful for our supporters, our sponsors and all of our golf participants who made this all possible. Thank you!
